Malbec Red Wine - Lagarde 750ml
The Lagarde line is composed of 6 varietals and a rosé wine. These are: Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Syrah, Merlot, Viognier, Chardonnay and a rosé, made with Malbec and Pinot Noir. In 2020, a Blend of reds was added for the first time. The reds are aged 8 to 12 months in oak barrels to achieve a delicate balance between fruit and oak. The whites, meanwhile, are fresh and lively.
Origin: Argentina
Tasting Notes
COLOR: Intense violet red.
AROMA: Aroma of ripe red fruits and jams, somewhat floral and fresh. Combined with hints of vanilla and chocolate.
TASTE: Balanced with very good body. The presence of ripe tannins makes it very
very unctuous and persistent.
Suggested Food Pairing
Ideal with grilled meats, pasta with bolognese sauce, and vegetable and legume stews.
Fermentation
In stainless steel tanks with daily pumping over and controlled temperature below 30°. Maceration lasts between 15 and 20 days, depending on daily tastings. Malolactic fermentation occurs spontaneously.
